Our Process for Distributing Free Resources

OBD receives requests from various sources that have heard about us from one of our existing clients, primarily pastors and missionaries, frequently through Face Book. We ask them to complete a survey with enough information for us to vet them for compatibility with our standards, policies, and goals, all with the overall purpose of elevating the Person and salvation work of our Lord Jesus Christ through distribution of His word and other media that explains it.

Once the potential client is approved for our services, they are placed on our Shipping list to receive a "Pilot Book and Bible Drop" with an assortment of bibles and sound doctrinal literature to be distributed by the recipient. The Pastor/missionary is invited to participate in our “FOLLOW ME” digital training course designed to familiarize them with basic Bible doctrines with a view towards connecting that client with one of the several local churches in the USA that have digital and/or mail-in doctrinal ministries that can provide the necessary spiritual food and guidance to bring the pastor/missionary to spiritual maturity.

In the course of this doctrinal journey, many other needs become evident. To the extent that God provides the resources for solutions, OBD assists with medical, educational, food and water, clothing, church-related construction and other tangible needs.

All OBD services are provided 100% free to its clients, financed solely by free-will donations of donors whom God has motivated to support our work. If resources dry up, we’ll close our operation. We recognize the grace of God and the immense benevolence He directs to us all as the sole source of our existence, our services and of our reciprocal love for our Leader, the Lord Jesus Christ.

All mankind is born spiritually dead and unable to have a relationship with God apart from the saving work of the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross, paying the penalty for the sins of the world. Salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone, and once salvation is appropriated, it cannot be lost. “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved” Acts 16:30

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life…The one who believes in Him is not judged; the one who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.” John 3:16, 18

  1. Eternal Security (Once saved, always saved)

“and I give them eternal life, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.” John 10:28-29

  2. Unlimited Atonement

means that Jesus Christ died for the sins of the entire world, past, present and future and NOT only for the sins of “the elect.”

“For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people.” Titus 2:11

“And He is the propitiation for our sins, but not for our sins only, but also for the entire world.” 1 Jn 2:2

It is the believer’s responsibility to grow to spiritual maturity, where Christ is formed in him and God is glorified to the maximum in his life.

“grow [by means of] the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” 2 Peter 3:18

“until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ.” Eph. 4:13

“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” 2 Tim. 3:16-17

  1. Spirituality for the Church Age

believer is the status of the filling of the Holy Spirit. The filling of the Holy Spirit is His ministry of controlling the believer’s soul, as opposed to old sin nature control of the soul, and it is distinguished from the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. While the indwelling of the Holy Spirit is permanent and given to every believer at the moment of faith in Christ, the filling of the Spirit is dependent on the volition of the believer. The filling of the Spirit is lost when the believer commits personal sin and is recovered when he confesses his sin to God the Father.

  2. Indwelling of the Holy Spirit

“But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.” Rom. 8:11

“the Helper is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him; but you know Him because He remains with you and will be in you.” John 14:17

  3. Spirituality / Filling

“so that the requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.” Rom. 8:4

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.” Gal. 5:22-23

“be filled with the Spirit” Eph. 5:18

“Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption” Eph. 4:30 “do not quench the Spirit” 1 Thess. 5:19

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous, so that He will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9

God’s system for teaching the believer is through the local church, where a prepared man with the spiritual gift of pastor-teacher communicates the Word of God to the believer under the control of God the Holy Spirit.

“And He gave some as apostles, some as prophets, some as evangelists, some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the building up of the body of Christ; until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ.” Eph. 4:11-13

“and let’s consider how to encourage one another in love and good deeds, not abandoning our own meeting together, as is the habit of some people, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.” Heb. 10:24-25

All Scripture in the original languages was inspired by God and is without error or contradiction. God so supernaturally directed the human writers of Scripture so that without waiving their intelligence, their individuality, their literary style, their personal feelings or any other human factor, His complete and coherent message to mankind was recorded with perfect accuracy in the original languages of Scripture, the very words bearing the authority of divine authorship

“All Scripture is inspired by God and beneficial for teaching, for rebuke, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man or woman of God may be fully capable, equipped for every good work.” Tim. 3:16-17

“Your word is truth.”John 17:17

“You have magnified Your word above all Your name.” Ps. 138:2

God has outlined human history according to dispensations and administers His plan for mankind in different ways in each dispensation.

“May the name of God be blessed forever and ever, for wisdom and power belong to Him. It is He who changes the times and the periods” Dan. 2:20-21

We are currently living in the Church Age, no longer under the Law of Moses, but under the Law of Grace.

“For Christ is the end of the Law for righteousness to everyone who believes.” Rom. 10:4

“for you are not under the Law but under grace” Rom. 6:14

“if indeed you have heard of the dispensation of God’s grace which was given to me for you” Eph. 3:2

The Church Age is an age of Historical Trends with no prophecy except for its beginning: The Day of Pentecost with the Baptism of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2); and its termination: The Rapture of the Church. There are no current events to indicate that the Rapture is about to occur. The Rapture is imminent, meaning it could occur at any moment or at some far distant date. No man knows.

  1. The Rapture

The Church Age will end with the Rapture, the resurrection and gathering of all believers of this dispensation to Christ when He returns to the clouds before the beginning of the Great Tribulation.

“But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers and sisters, about those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve as indeed the rest of mankind do, who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose from the dead, so also God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep through Jesus. For we say this to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will not precede those who have fallen asleep.” 1 Thess. 4:13-15

“Behold, I am telling you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For this perishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality. But when this perishable puts on the imperishable, and this mortal puts on immortality, then will come about the saying that is written: ‘Death has been swallowed up in victory.’” 1 Cor. 15:51-54

“No one is to deceive you in any way! For it will not come unless the [departure] comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction” 2 Thess. 2:3

  2. The Tribulation

The seven years of Tribulation, also known as Daniel’s Seventieth Week, will complete the Age of Israel and will be terminated by the Second Advent of the Lord Jesus Christ to the earth to establish His thousand-year reign. Dan. 9:27; Matt. 24:15-21; Rev. 6:1-17

Spiritual gifts are sovereignly given by the Holy Spirit to each believer at the point of salvation. Therefore, a spiritual gift is never earned, deserved, or developed through any form of emotional experience. There are two categories of spiritual gifts: Temporary spiritual gifts were operational during the pre-canon period of the Church Age, i.e., from circa A.D. 30, the day of Pentecost when the Church Age began, to A.D. 96, the pre-canon period of the Church Age. Temporary spiritual gifts only functioned during the pre-canon period. On the day the Church Age began, there was no New Testament, so temporary spiritual gifts were designed to take up the slack in the Church Age until the New Testament Canon was completed and circulated, and the mystery doctrine of the Church Age was reduced to writing. Permanent spiritual gifts function from the completion of the New Testament in 96 A.D. until the Rapture of the Church, whenever that occurs. The spiritual gift of tongues faded into extinction by 70AD. The so-called gift of tongues today is false and demon inspired. Other temporary gifts that have now ceased include Apostle, prophecy, wisdom, knowledge, miracles, healings, distinguishing of spirits, and the gift of faith.

“Love never fails; but if there are gifts of prophecy, they will be done away with; if there are tongues, they will cease; if there is knowledge, it will be done away with. For we know in part and prophesy in part; but when the perfect [completed revelation of God’s Word] comes, the partial will be done away with.” 1 Corinthians 13:8-10
